2020 history
In 2020, the Draper 17th Ward Relief Society launched Ministering Pods. Instead of the traditional two by two “visiting teaching” model, women were placed in groups of 6-9 called pods. Each group has a pod leader who facilitates communication, both to the group and back to the RS Presidency. The pod members work together to decide how the group wants to engage and support each other. From service, to weekly walks, to supporting members through loss and heartache, women are loved and supported by a larger group of neighbors and friends as they tackle the challenges of life in the 2020s.
